Access Control

Tired of dealing with physical keys that get lost and are a pain to manage? Make the switch to access control and see the power behind Avigilon’s ACM software today!

We at ADS utilize Avigilon’s Access Control Manager (ACM) as our software of choice for your access control needs. ACM seamlessly integrates with Active Directory, HR databases and any other IT and logical security systems. This allows you to manage permissions centrally, from a single location and without any headaches. We can do this because our system was built from the ground up with the IT professional in mind.

ACM is built on a custom Linux based platform, and can be accessed via a web interface. The simple interface lets you manage multiple sites from one location, even if they’re spread across the globe. You can also assign door privileges and manage employee or visitor credentials quickly and easily, never needing to be tied to a specific workspace. Whether it be a mobile device, tablet, or PC, you can guarantee the experience will be the same throughout.

ACM is also built upon the principle of open field hardware. Utilizing the ever popular Mercury Platform, take overs are a breeze! When you couple this with our retrofit programs, it enables you to leverage any past hardware installations, so your legacy investments don’t go to waste. Lenel, RS2, Software House? No problem, we can get you out of that expensive system and into a much more affordable, powerful system.

The Latest release ACM 6 introduces a new model for ordering and delivering end-customer licenses by simplifying how they are issued, distributed and managed. This new process is said to get customers up and running faster, helping to increase efficiencies.

The solution promotes ease of deployment by including default door and wiring templates, support for large card formats and extended support for Mercury controllers, according to the company.

ACM integrates with the Avigilon Control Center (ACC) video management software, allowing users to search for a person using their ACM cardholder information to view video clips of related door activity.

The unification feature of ACM and ACC leverages the power of Avigilon Appearance Search technology, which is said to make it possible to search for a person of interest based on their identity name directly from the ACC interface, allowing customers to more quickly and efficiently secure their facility.

“The ACM system is transformational in its ability to integrate with ACC software, offering users a seamless solution for both video security and access control,” says John Kedzierski, senior vice president, video security solutions at Motorola Solutions. “Combined with greater licensing flexibility, this unification makes ACM a streamlined solution to meet the needs of our customers and end-users.”

Classroom Doors

Keep equipment, supplies, and records locked away while offering convenient entry for students and staff with credentials. Card readers can provide a history of who has accessed a specific room while an intercom provides communication for those who do not typically access that room.
