Essential Job Functions

  •         Install IP Security Cameras training included
  •         Install and pull wires and cables as needed for projects

Requirements

  •         Some travel and overnights if install is over 50 miles from office in Liberty Mo.
  •         Sound judgment and the demonstrated ability to act independently
  •         Ability to organize workload effectively and work with a sense of urgency
  •         Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
  •         Demonstrate basic mathematical skills and computer skills
  •         Valid Driver’s license and US Social Security Number
  •         Must be able to pass security and background checks
  •         Must be in full compliance with company and customers safety program
  •         Must be reliable and punctual
  •         Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more.

Education and Experience

Physical Demands:

Work involves standing, talking, hearing, using hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reaching with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stand, stoop, kneel, drive and reach. The employee must frequently push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in inclement weather conditions.

The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration.

General Summary

The primary focus of this position is to develop new sales opportunities & generate profitable revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying, quoting, and closing commercial accounts. Sales experience in access control, megapixel surveillance, audio/video entry, visitor management, and emergency notification are a plus. The candidate must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the sales cycle and processes, and the ability to work with new and existing clients to capture new business and maintain current business. Integrated security solutions will be presented to business owners, executives, directors, and facility managers within the commercial space. The candidate must demonstrate his/her experience hunting for new business and selling incoming leads.

Duties & Responsibilities

  •   Self-generate leads and maximize company provided leads
  •   Close outright equipment/installation sales and generate recurring monthly revenue
  •   Hunt for new leads through leads group participation, canvassing, social media, centers of influence, existing relationships, and referrals
  •   Maintain an accurate CRM & pipeline while developing and maintaining an active proposal funnel that will support the sales plan
  •   Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates
  •   Build and maintain consultative relationships while understanding the client’s risk profile & budget
  •   Demonstrate the value of solutions you present to best satisfy customer needs
  •   Work effectively with internal clients to provide attractive quotes to customers and project manage the accounts that he/she sells
  •   Work in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts
  •   Drive to customer locations as necessary

Qualifications

  •   The applicant should have at least three (3) years of experience selling electronic security to commercial clients
  •   Must be proficient in Word and Excel
  •   Must have a valid driver’s license
  •   The applicant should have the ability to read wiring diagrams/schematics
  •   He/she should also possess strong reasoning skills and the ability to define problems, collect data, establish fact, and draw reasonable conclusions
  •   The ability to interpret a variety of technical and contractual information is essential
