The Challenge
Frustrated by the shortcomings of their obsolete video surveillance and access control systems, Clinton County R-3 School District (CCR3) needed a solution that allowed them to reliably monitor important areas in each building, especially during an emergency.
The Solution
As an Avigilon Elite Plus Partner of over 10 years, ADS started with a design based around a video surveillance system that has introduced the new features of appearance search and the outstanding integrations into Access Control Manager, allowing district administration to track students and visitors throughout the interior and exterior of the building. ADS also introduced Hall Pass visitor management across the entire district, allowing for additional protection of students and school staff members from the risks of unwanted visitors or child predators gaining access to the campus and other school events.
The Result
The interior and exterior of the district buildings are now visible to CCR3. These improvements also allow for the restriction of building access, resulting in a significant increase in site protection. When it comes to the protection of sending their children to school, the community now has peace of mind. The combination of the new entry intercoms and these outstanding technologies checked every box that the district needed for today and years to come.
